Vihra is an amazing dog. She was born in Bulgaria and raised with a trainer for few months while Mariela was finishing her degree. Being born in Europe where tail docking and ear cropping is illigal, she was left with a tail. Soon after moving to the US, they realized that having a tail is a frowned upon in the AKC Show world. After several consultations with veterinarians it was decided to leave her tail rather than amputating it. Vihra went to several dog shows where she and Mariela met amazing people and mentors. After learning about other AKC activities, they opted to try the other sports that AKC has to offer. Vihra has an outstanding temperament and most importantly loves to please her owners, is very eager to learn new things, and has a great health background. She is a very balanced dog and conformationally sound. Her sire and dam are both hunting dogs and you can see that feature in Vihra too.

Vihra mastered ten basic skills that instill confidence and good manners in and out of our home.
The CGC title is also a prerequisite for many therapy dog certifications, as well as a great introduction to more advanced dog sports and activities
Hunting
Pointing Breed Hunting tests are non-competitive pass/fail tests which assess each dog independently based attributes such as display of desire, boldness, independence, speed with a useful pattern of running across difficult or confusing scent patterns to pinpoint the location of birds.
A hunting examination was done to check if she inherited interest in birds as both her sire and dam. Sure enough she was pointing with no hesitation.

From the 1920’s and 1940’s when trick dogs such as Rin Tin Tin and Lassie won peoples’ hearts, trick dog training has become one of the most exciting new areas in dog training today.
Vihra earned her Novice Trick Dog, Intermediate trick dog, Advanced trick dog and Trick dog performer titiles just in few months.
She also earned Achiever dog Certificate for participating in 3 different activities.
