General infromation

In our program each sire and dam are health tested for elbow and hip dysplasia, heart, HUU/SD/HYM.

Puppies are well socialized with adults and children, older dogs and sounds. We strive to provide appropriate stimulation for each puppy according to their development. We begin potty training around 3.5-4 weeks old by using a puppy litter and we introduce a crate around the same age.

We observe the temperament of each puppy since they were born which helps us pair puppies to the right home. This helps for each puppy and family to come to a great match for each other.

We begin stacking puppies on a table at 5 weeks old and keep evaluating their structure until 8 weeks of age.  At 7-8weeks of age they are a small representation of what they will look like as an adult.  This is especially essential for puppies that will grow to be participating in conformation showing, competing in agility and other sports.

Each puppy is current on vaccination according to The Weimaraner Club of America protocol. Puppies receive their first vaccination when they are 8 weeks old.  This is the age when puppies can be picked up under the condition that puppies are not taken into public places and dog parks until their second set of vaccination. Their tails and dewclaws are removed when they are 3-5 days old. Puppies are dewormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks of age. Puppies come microchipped and already enrolled in the AKC Reunite website, which means you do not have to register them.  Their examination is being performed by a veterinarian before leaving our home.

Puppies are sent home with a bag of goodies which includes the puppy health record, an AKC info and registration, a blanket with littermate scent, a toy, microchip tag/information, treats and a bag of food we have been feeding.
